Job summary

OptumRx is seeking a Financial Consultant to join the Optum Pharmacy Finance Team supporting the Sourcing & Trade function. This role will oversee and analyze financial performance across all Optum owned pharmacies, including cost economics, special buys, and legislative impacts, with the ability to present findings to leadership. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Experience preparing and delivering financial results or modeling to management/leadership.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, large data sets, formulas).
• Proven ability to analyze data, summarize it, and provide conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead accrual estimation processes across all Optum owned pharmacies and present to finance and accounting leadership on a monthly basis.
• Manage the actuals reporting and forecasting for Sourcing & Trade value and develop strong working relationships with finance leads across each pharmacy.
• Create and maintain financial models regarding various legislative impacts.
• Create financial models that identify financial opportunities and help inform strategy.
• Pull data to maintain and create financial reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Comfortable with navigating large data sets and standing up new and improved processes.
• Comfortable working in an environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
