Job summary

CVS Health and Specialty is seeking a Pharmacy Care Technician for a work-from-home role in Florida. You must live within 75 miles of Orlando and be comfortable coming onsite for equipment issues or reviews.

The role handles prescription data entry, dose calculations, insurance processing and patient education with support from pharmacists. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with a full-time schedule 11:00am–7:30pm Monday to Friday, and a comprehensive benefits package is included for eligible

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license and/or certification as required by the State of FL.
• Experience in a pharmacy technician role and Windows-based applications.
• Ability to operate Windows, internet navigation and email applications.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and enter prescriptions into the computer system with dose calculations.
• Route incomplete prescriptions to prescribers for clarification and enter clarified data.
• Assist with inbound calls, educate customers and perform insurance verification and benefit investigations.
