Qualifications

• Must live within 75 miles of Chandler, AZ.
• Six months experience in a pharmacy technician role.
• Six months experience with Windows-based applications.
• Six months keyboarding skills and aptitude.
• Active valid Pharmacy Technician License/Certification as required by AZ.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and enter prescriptions into the computer system and calculate doses.
• Process insurance payments and verify coverage; route unclear prescriptions to prescriber for clarification.
• Handle inbound calls, educate customers, and assist with enrollment and benefit investigations.
• Enter and complete orders for new and existing patients; escalate issues to a pharmacist as needed.
• Maintain a secure home workspace and adhere to privacy and security requirements.
