Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Project Manager in Plano, TX (Remote) to lead application development projects in the pharmacy space. You will coordinate with business stakeholders, pharmacy operations, and engineers to ensure schedules stay on track and budgets are controlled.

The role requires hands-on project management, SDLC oversight, and proven experience with Scrum, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies. Collaboration and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• 7–10 years of directly related project management experience.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is highly recommended.
• Proven experience with PM methodologies: Scrum, Waterfall, and Agile.
• Strong understanding of the IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with PM tools for status reporting, metrics and risk management, such as JIRA.
• Demonstrated ability in stakeholder, timeline and risk management.
• Knowledge of PM techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of a project, including scope, cost, schedule, and deliverables.
• Lead the planning effort, including deliverables, resource assignment, and work breakdown structure.
• End-to-end project management for application development, SDLC adherence.
• Coordinate with business units, pharmacy operations, and engineering.
• Develop detailed project plans, monitor milestones, and generate status reports.
• Create and manage project financials: budgeting, forecasting, tracking.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs with verification techniques.
• Juggle multiple projects with competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
