Job summary

UBC is seeking a Project Manager, Pharmacovigilance to lead PV project teams and deliver contracted services on time and within budget. You will serve as the primary client contact, coordinate PV activities globally and locally, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include developing project plans, tracking milestones, managing action items, and supporting QPPV activities across regions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years direct project management experience at CRO/pharma or 4+ years PV experience.
• Knowledge of global/local PV regulations (pre/post-marketing).
• Strong PM, interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Ability to document, track and resolve project action items across programs.
• Experience with Argus or similar safety databases.
• Project financial oversight including invoicing and margin analysis.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel to UBC locations/clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead PV projects to meet contracted milestones within budget.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate global/local PV activities.
• Develop Project Management Plans and maintain governance.
• Track timelines, budgets, and project KPIs; escalate issues timely.
• Prepare client communications, reports, and presentations.
• Support QPPV activities and CAPA-related actions when needed.
