Judi Health is seeking a pharmacist trainer to develop and deliver training to pharmacist staff, focusing on prior authorization systems, processes, and procedures. You will create engaging content, update resources, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining detailed training records.

The role requires a Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Pharmacy, an active license, and 3+ years as a clinical pharmacist in a PBM setting.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active unrestrictive pharmacist license.
• 3+ years as a clinical pharmacist in a PBM setting.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs.
• Solid understanding of prior authorization operations, federal and state laws, and regulations.
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with e-learning platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule independently in a remote, high-volume call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate onboarding and deliver training sessions for pharmacists on prior authorization systems.
• Develop and update training materials, verbiage templates, job aids, and communicate updates.
• Ensure content is accurate, current, clinically relevant, compliant with regulations and policies.
• Maintain records of training sessions, attendance, and materials for audits.
• Assess pharmacist performance through evaluations and quizzes, providing feedback.
• Collaborate with pharmacy managers and stakeholders to identify training needs.
• Prepare detailed documentation in prior authorization cases, overrides, and call center cases.
• Perform peer-to-peer reviews with providers when requested.
• Review scientific literature to support decisions and recommendations to providers.
• Communicate issues and resolutions to members, pharmacies, providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide backup support to the call center team as required.
