Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in South Dakota required.
• Willing to obtain additional state licenses within 120 days of hire.
• ASHP-accredited residency or hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prescriber orders for safety, efficacy, and appropriateness for dispensing across multiple EMRs.
• Collaborate with physicians and prescribers to recommend optimal therapy following ASHP standards.
• Provide drug information to healthcare providers to ensure safe medication practices.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and expected outcomes.
• Document all completed tasks in the order management system.
• Foster relationships with contracted remote facilities and healthcare teams.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
