Qualifikationen

• Pharmacist license required and active in state of residence.
• Experience in clinical consultation or specialty pharmacy preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills required.

Aufgaben

• Provide telephonic patient education on specialty medications and disease state management.
• Document consultations and interventions in pharmacy software per policies.
• Interpret prescriptions, verify details with providers, and expedite order processing.
• Coordinate with physicians to clarify prescriptions and explore generic/biosimilar options when appropriate.
• Stay current with specialty therapies and guidelines; train junior staff as needed.
