Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Pharmaceutical Product Development Scientist to join a progressive company focused on innovative healthcare solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical product development or related role.
• Experience with solid oral dosage form development is desirable.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques used in pharmaceutical characterization and stability testing.
• Understanding of GMP principles and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical development.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of new pharmaceutical products, focusing on formulation and process development.
• Conduct laboratory experiments to support formulation, stability testing, and characterization.
• Assist in scale-up of laboratory processes to pilot and commercial scales.
• Prepare and review technical documents, including batch records, development reports, and validation protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Stay current with scientific literature, industry trends, and new technologies in pharmaceutical development.
• Support the preparation of regulatory submission dossiers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during product development.
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks and records.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
