Job summary

Patra Corporation is seeking a Remote Personal Lines Customer Care Specialist to manage daily personal lines insurance tasks for active clients. The role involves handling inbound calls and emails, educating customers on policy coverages, and achieving client-agreed targets from the service agreement.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years in personal lines, holds a Property & Casualty license, and can operate from a home office in the United States with strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 to 2+ years of Personal Lines Experience - Auto and Home products.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
• Work from home remotely in United States only.
• 12pm-9pm EST and 1 Saturday every 4 weeks.
• Minimum internet speed of 6 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload; Wired Ethernet connection from home router; No Satellite.

Responsibilities

• Inform, educate, and make suggestions to customer / prospects about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and insurance coverage needs.
• Deliver strong customer service by responding swiftly and managing inquiries from calls, emails, faxes, and mail.
• Adapt to various insurance carrier rating websites.
• Solve problems quickly and implement solutions to meet customer needs.
• Forge relationships with customers and insurance carriers.
• Proactively research and have detailed knowledge of current market conditions.
• Maintain knowledge of technology-based tools and solutions in support of personal lines business.
• Use analytical and critical thinking in work processes and communication.
• Maintain a paperless workflow.
• Maintain knowledge of various state insurance guidelines.
• Understand customer challenges and partner to find solutions.
• Identify and communicate to team leads any areas for efficiency improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
