Job summary

The Freelance Firm, LLC is a national network of experienced, freelance attorneys and paralegals providing remote, on-demand support for legal projects. We are seeking a paralegal with substantial Florida litigation experience to support attorneys across all phases of cases, manage active files, and draft pleadings and discovery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Florida litigation experience, a strong paralegal/administrative background, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in the State of Florida.
• Experience handling personal injury and/or medical malpractice matters.
• Strong paralegal and administrative background.
• Ability to manage active litigation files and support attorneys.
• Experience drafting pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other documents.
• Knowledge of Florida litigation procedures, deadlines, and court requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
• Manage active litigation files and calendars.
• Draft pleadings, letters, and discovery requests.
• Coordinate with clients and court filings.
