Jobot is seeking two Associate Attorneys with personal injury and civil litigation experience in California. The role offers meaningful responsibility, collaboration with a collegial team, and strong upward earning potential.

Ideal candidates will independently manage cases, draft pleadings, and participate in depositions, mediations and trials within a flexible remote/hybrid/in-office work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Approximately 3–8 years of legal experience.
• Personal injury and civil litigation experience.
• Experience independently handling an active caseload.
• Experience taking expert depositions.
• Strong legal writing, communication, research and case-management skills.
• Typical annual billable-hour expectation of approximately 1,850–1,950 hours.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a personal injury and civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and substantive legal analysis.
• Take and defend party, witness and expert depositions.
• Participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Develop case strategy and provide evaluations and recommendations to clients.
• Prepare cases for trial and participate meaningfully in the trial process.
• Attend court hearings and other litigation-related proceedings.
• Collaborate with partners, associates and professional support staff
