Jobot is partnering with a growing national civil defense law firm seeking a California-licensed Associate Attorney with 4+ years of civil litigation or insurance defense experience to join its expanding litigation team, on a fully remote basis.

You will support senior litigators, draft pleadings, discovery and motions, and help develop litigation strategy, all within a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment that supports remote practice and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required.
• About 4+ years in civil litigation or insurance defense.
• Strong legal writing and drafting skills.
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and litigation support.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support senior attorneys and partners in managing complex civil defense matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation-related correspondence.
• Assist with deposition preparation, hearings, and motion practice.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy recommendations.
• Participate in case management and support matters through resolution.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel as needed.
