Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, IL seeks a Perinatal Mental Health Clinician on a per diem basis to respond to calls, provide emotional support, assess risk, and develop joint intervention plans for new mothers and families.

The role requires a Master's or Doctorate in Mental Health Services, licenses (LCSW/LCPC/LPC/LCP) or APNCS, and at least three years of experience with postpartum mood disorders. Shifts include days, evenings, nights with on-call compensation.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Mental Health Services required.
• Experience in mental health services with at least 3 years.
• Licensure or eligible licensure in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC/LPC, LCP, APNCS) required OR CPA option as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support to callers via hotline.
• Assess caller status and depression/anxiety symptoms.
• Develop joint intervention plans and initiate outreach calls.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and documentation within 24 hours.
• Maintain contact with program leadership on complex cases.
