Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks a highly organized Project Manager to lead ramp-up and tech transfer for a peptide API manufacturing facility. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, QA/QC, and global partners to ensure timely program delivery and facility readiness.

The role requires 5+ years in regulated pharma project management, experience in tech transfer, and strong communication to align stakeholders across time zones. Flexible/remote work options supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical/regulated manufacturing.
• Direct experience leading technology transfer, process scale-up, or startup projects.
• Experience in peptide API manufacturing or complex chemical processes a plus.
• Strong cross-functional leadership with aggressive timelines and multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of technology transfer, process validation, and cGMP workflows.
• Proven ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Highly organized with structure and execution in fast-paced environments.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical/non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with global teams and accommodate international partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for peptide manufacturing tech transfers and startup activities.
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk plans.
• Coordinate transfer of peptide processes from R&D or external sites to commercial operations.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Process Development for GMP readiness.
• Serve as primary cross-functional project lead across Operations, QA/QC, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Facilitate meetings, drive accountability, resolve cross-functional issues, report to leadership.
• Ensure activities comply with cGMP and support SOPs, batch records, and validation protocols.
• Support facility startup activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ and initial GMP campaigns.
• Help establish scalable PM processes, governance, and best practices for growth.
• Collaborate with global teams and external partners across time zones.
