Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks an Operations Engineer / Production Scientist to support peptide manufacturing at our Menlo Park site. You will own technical processes across SPPS, purification, and lyophilization, collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to boost yield and throughput while ensuring robust GMP operations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on peptide manufacturing or API process experience, strong data analysis skills, and a continuous improvement mindset with root cause analysis

Qualifications

• Hands-on GMP manufacturing operations experience.
• Direct SPPS experience and peptide processing exposure.
• Strong data interpretation and process improvement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical process owner for peptide manufacturing: SPPS, purification, lyophilization.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting on the floor during batch execution.
• Monitor CP parameters and KPIs across peptide processes.
• Analyze and trend data to identify variability, bottlenecks, and improvements.
• Develop dashboards tracking yield, cycle time, solvent use, throughput, right‑first‑time metrics.
