Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced PeopleSoft Platform Developer to architect, install, and maintain Enterprise PeopleSoft environments. You will lead upgrades, security configurations, and integration with cloud and middleware, collaborating with product, design, engineering and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive PeopleTools, Oracle DB, Linux/Unix, and DevOps experience, and will mentor juniors while ensuring robust production readiness and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
• Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, configure, upgrade and operate enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
• Own the technical backbone of the PeopleSoft platform including upgrades and security configurations.
• Oversee search server operations and integration with cloud/middleware platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce engineering standards and reviews.
