Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer to own architecture, installation, configuration, upgrade, and ongoing operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments. You will lead upgrades, image applications, and security configurations while collaborating with product, design, engineering, and operations teams.

The role emphasizes deep PeopleTools and PeopleSoft administration experience, strong Oracle/Linux fundamentals, and cloud/middleware

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PUM.
Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process schedulers.
Experience administering Elasticsearch/OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and operate PeopleSoft environments across development, test, training, and production.
Lead PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image applications, and patch deployments.
Manage application servers, schedulers, web servers (WebLogic), and the integration gateway.
Administer Elasticsearch/OpenSearch deployments supporting PeopleSoft search.
Perform PeopleSoft system copies, refreshes, and clones across environments with durable results.
Implement and tune Oracle Database connectivity in partnership with DBAs.
Configure PeopleSoft security at all layers and operate Cloud Manager automation.
Design and operate HA/DR strategies and ensure alignment with standards.
Develop automation tooling using shell, Python, or Ansible to reduce toil.
Monitor system health, perform capacity planning, and drive optimizations.
Provide post-go-live support and triage incidents with durable fixes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and facilitate onboarding of engineers.
Mentor junior engineers through code/design reviews and knowledge sharing.
