Job summary

Coalfire is seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to join our Penetration Testing Team. You will lead engagements, perform security assessments, and advise clients on technical security and compliance activities across enterprise environments.

The role requires 3+ years in information security with web and network penetration testing, strong scripting ability, and excellent communication. Travel up to 20% is expected; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in information security with Web App and Network penetration testing
• Experience with enterprise environments
• Hands-on scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, Shell, or Ruby
• Experience with PCI, FISMA, HIPAA, FEDRAMP, or HITRUST
• 1-3 years in IT Security Audit/Compliance
• Strong IT understanding of networks, servers, and applications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on technical security or compliance activities
• Manages priorities and tasks to meet delivery targets
• Operates professionally with clients and internal teams
• Ensures high-quality products and services are delivered on time
• Develops professional skills with certifications and maintains knowledge in the practice area
• Collaborates with project managers, QA, sales and other delivery team members
• Develops testing processes, procedures, and methodologies
• Assists with report generation and QA processes
• Develops client relationships and scopes prospective engagements
• Leads engagements from initial stages through remediation
• Manages project escalations and mentors staff
• Contributes to the Penetration Testing Team's overall success
