Job summary

SAIC seeks a Penetration Tester to join our offensive security team supporting a state & local government client. You will perform web, network, and mobile assessments, deliver client-ready reports, and guide remediation with executive-facing communications.

You will contribute to enterprise cyber architecture, cloud security, and advanced testing methodologies while growing mobile testing capabilities and aligning with NIST/NICE standards.

Qualifications

Bachelors and nine or more years of related experience; advanced degrees may substitute.
US Citizen eligible for CJIS background check and clearance.
Expert in cybersecurity and digital forensics; strong OWASP knowledge.
Proficient with web and mobile testing tools; cloud security experience.
Experience with red-teaming, reporting, and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality penetration tests across web, network, and mobile apps.
Manage engagements from scoping to reporting with a focus on quality.
Produce clear technical reports and communicate risk to technical and executive stakeholders.
Support mobile assessments (iOS/Android) and expand mobile capabilities over time.
Plan and manage cybersecurity projects aligned to NICE framework.
Evaluate new security tools and technologies; use tools to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
Present findings to clients, guiding remediation and strategic decisions.
