Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical practice as a Medical Assistant.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
• Current BLS certification required and CMA/RMA certification recommended by national bodies.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows department policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks including vital signs, history, and screenings.
• Assists providers with procedures and lab duties (venipuncture, POCT) as ordered.
• Administers medications and vaccines safely and maintains supplies.
