Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Pediatrics, or Pediatrics with Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification.
• English fluency is required.
• At least five years of hospitalist experience.
• Current or recent inpatient pediatric hospitalist experience within the past two years.
• Strong knowledge of admission, daily progress, transitions-of-care, and discharge documentation.
• Comfort reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Careful, consistent judgment when evaluating clinical accuracy and documentation completeness.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient pediatric medical records and clinical notes to aid AI systems.
• Check HPI, past medical history, birth and developmental history, immunization status, assessments, and care plans.
• Verify that clinical claims are supported by the record.
• Find missing or inconsistent information, weight-based dosing errors, and age-inappropriate details.
• Apply review guidelines consistently across patient records.
• Communicate clear findings about clinical accuracy and documentation completeness.
