Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a pediatric-focused Medical Records Reviewer to analyze inpatient pediatric records for AI training and data quality. You will verify information in notes and FHIR data, ensuring accuracy of HPI, PMH, immunizations, and plans while identifying inconsistencies and gaps.

You will collaborate with the project team to provide actionable feedback and ensure documentation aligns with hospital workflows, transitions of care, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in Pediatrics (or Pediatrics with a Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialty certification).
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Experience with chart review, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Have strong relevant experience in the domain.
