Job summary
Blackbird Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for a weekend-only, fully remote role focused on children and adolescents. You will perform evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management across PA, VA, NJ, or MD, with full sponsorship to obtain state licenses.
The role offers a guaranteed base salary plus earnings from additional clinical hours, comprehensive benefits, and W-2 employment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing and PMHNP-BC certification.
- Active PMHNP licensure in PA, VA, NJ, or MD or willingness to obtain via sponsorship.
- Experience working with children/adolescents in psychiatry.
- Independent practice experience at the top of your scope.
- Proficiency with EMR, telehealth, and digital collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for 2–26 age range.
- Develop treatment plans and manage medication for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with therapists to implement whole-child treatment approaches.
- Educate families and provide ongoing patient education.
- Oversee diagnostic testing and maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
