Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for youth. You will engage families, educate them about care options, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

The role is fully remote with after-school hours in ET, requires PMHNP-BC and at least one year of independent practice, and PA/license/DEA authorization.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited nursing program, PMHNP-BC certification, and at least one year of independent psychiatric experience working under licensure.
• Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license, DEA license, and State Prescriptive Authority.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and provide medication management.
• Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients and families to support engagement in care.
• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure integrated care.
• Document and maintain HIPAA-compliant records of meetings and progress.
