Job summary
Blackbird Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management for children, adolescents, and young adults. This fully remote role supports patients across Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey with an interdisciplinary team.
The position requires PMHNP-BC certification, active PA licensure, and at least one year of independent practice with youth.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited nursing program and PMHNP-BC certification.
- At least 1 year of independent psychiatric practice with children/adolescents.
- Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/CRNP/APN license, DEA license, and prescriptive authority.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans including medication management.
- Build meaningful therapeutic relationships with patients and families, educating them about care options.
- Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed to ensure safety and positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with therapists and other clinicians to create integrated treatment plans.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and oversee related diagnostic testing.
