The Remote Occupational Therapist will conduct teletherapy with a diverse caseload, building treatment plans, delivering interventions, and documenting progress while ensuring HIPAA compliance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active CA State Occupational Therapy License or eligibility to apply.
• Experience in a clinic or school setting.
• Pediatric experience (18 months+) preferred.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessments: conduct evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
• Treatment Planning: develop individualized treatment plans.
• Intervention: provide remote occupational therapy services via telehealth.
• Education: educate patients and caregivers on techniques to enhance independence.
• Documentation: maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
• Compliance: follow HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Technology: use telehealth platforms effectively for sessions.
• Continuing Education: stay updated with occupational therapy developments.
