Job summary

Playground Pediatrics seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our remote behavioral health team serving pediatric patients across North Carolina and beyond. You will provide therapy via telehealth, coordinate with primary care teams, and develop comprehensive, family-centered treatment plans.

This part-time role involves 20 hours per week, with after-school availability (2–6 p.m.) and occasional weekend hours. NC LCSW license and 2+ years' pediatric experience required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LCSW license in North Carolina.
• MSW from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience providing therapy to children/adolescents.
• Experience with psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment planning for pediatric populations.
• Experience with evidence-based modalities such as child-focused CBT, PCIT, and/or play therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, episodic, and longitudinal psychotherapy to pediatric patients.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans with families and the care team.
• Deliver therapy using evidence-based modalities tailored to developmental stage.
• Manage a mixed caseload with short-term and longer-term therapy needs.
• Engage parents/caregivers as active participants in treatment and provide psychoeducation.
