Job summary

Kaplan is seeking remote Subject Matter Experts with a PE in Structural Engineering to update our PE Structural exam materials for April 2027 changes. This role focuses on revising the review manual, course, and quiz bank to align with new specifications.

It is a remote contract opportunity (1099) with flexible hours up to 20 per week. You will review and update quiz questions in the style of NCEES exams, edit content for accuracy, collaborate with the team, and provide feedback on study plans

Qualifications

• Must have active PE Certification with NCEES in Structural Engineering.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines for content updates.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to identify content update needs.
• Reliable email communication; occasional video meetings may be required.
• Experience in educational content development or technical writing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and update quiz questions in the style of NCEES examinations for the PE Structural exam changes.
• Edit and revise review manuals or course content for accuracy and alignment with new specifications.
• Collaborate with team to ensure materials are current for April 2027 changes.
• Contribute to study plan suggestions and address customer expectations for exam prep.
• Perform quality assurance and technical reviews of updated content.
