Job summary

Kaplan is seeking remote Subject Matter Experts with a PE in Structural Engineering to join our engineering team to update study materials for the upcoming PE Structural exam specifications taking effect in April 2027. This is a remote contract (1099) opportunity with flexible hours (up to 20 per week).

Qualifications

• Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
• Active PE Certification in Structural Engineering (NCEES).
• Strong familiarity with PE Structural exam content and updates.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Review and update quiz questions in the style of NCEES exams for the new PE Structural changes.
• Revise and edit the review manual/course content for the PE exam to align with new specs.
• Collaborate to ensure materials are up-to-date and comprehensive for April 2027 changes.
• Contribute to study plans and provide feedback on customer expectations for PE Structural prep.
• Perform quality assurance and technical reviews of updated content.
