Job summary

Millig Design Build is seeking a Mechanical Engineer (PE) to drive decarbonization in existing and new facilities. You will lead MEP design for ground-up and retrofit HVAC projects, coordinate with subconsultants, and support cost estimation with in-house teams.

The role requires a PE license, 7+ years in building systems, and strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and load calculations. We offer Hybrid/Remote work, competitive comp, and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE license preferred.
• 7+ years of experience with building systems and project management.
• Strong HVAC knowledge; familiarity with controls, electrical, and plumbing related to mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and load calculation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of MEP systems for diverse projects; finalize equipment/material selections.
• Conduct technical analysis, calculations, and simulations for system loads and performance.
• Support facility studies to identify energy conservation opportunities and system renewals.
• Coordinate with subconsultants, vendors, and in-house teams to align on cost estimates and design concepts.
