Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with patents or in the intellectual property field.
• U.S. citizen or work-eligible legal resident who has resided in the U.S. for the last two years.
• Must pass USPTO Background check.

Responsibilities

• Accept projects with a defined due date based on availability.
• Perform comprehensive searches and provide search history.
• Prepare written opinions applying relevant prior art.

Skills

Experience with patents or in intellectual property field

Strong time management skills

Ability to develop a search methodology

Experience with patent databases (Orbit, PatBase, Google Scholar, PatSeer)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Master's degree or PhD (optional)
