Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Electrical Designer II to join the PCB Design team. You will design PCBA for AC and DC circuits and work with Engineers and Sr. Designers using Altium design tools at an expert level. Remote option with occasional travel to our Brookfield, Wisconsin headquarters is available.

You will expand your PCB design skills, learn to communicate complex layout topics, and contribute to design rule creation and document packages per Milwaukee standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline required.
• 2+ years of PCBA design experience.
• Proficiency with professional PCB CAD tools, preferably Altium.
• Basic understanding of electronics.

Responsibilities

• Design PCBA for AC & DC circuits in new and existing products.
• Create PCB layouts including dimensions, floor-planning, planes, placement, routing.
• Prepare PCB designs for technical review and generate documentation.
• Collaborate with PCB vendors for prototype sourcing when needed.
