Job summary

Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN) is seeking a detail-oriented Follow Up Representative to manage payor follow-up from home. The role covers primary and secondary claims and appeals within a fast-paced revenue cycle environment.

You will collaborate with clinics, patients, and insurers to resolve outstanding balances and secure timely payments, leveraging knowledge of EOBs and denial management. PRN offers comprehensive benefits and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 1-year prior medical receivable collections experience preferred.
• High School/G.E.D. required.
• Understanding of medical claims processing.
• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations as they relate to billing and collections.
• Ability to understand claim denials/rejections.
• Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Manage primary and secondary claims
• Respond promptly to billing inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and departments
• Work with clinics to identify and resolve issues regarding outstanding account balances
• Resolve denials and submit appeals
• Utilize the most efficient resources to secure timely payment of open claims
• Research assigned correspondence and takes necessary action to resolve requests
• Ensure daily accomplishments contribute toward company goals for A/R
• Resolve accounts in follow-up queues
