Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Payment Accuracy COB Specialist to review and analyze healthcare claim data, determine liability order, and document recovery details in Cotiviti tools. This role supports client inquiries and requires attention to detail and data integrity.

The position is US-Remote, within the Coordination of Benefits unit, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and regulatory compliance. Strong data handling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred in healthcare or related field.
• Experience in healthcare and knowledge of COB strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel/Office skills and data handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze claims, member, and group data to identify recoverable claims.
• Establish correct liability order for client members under supervision.
• Input accurate claim recovery information in Cotiviti tools and client systems.
• Prepare responses to client disputes and support inquiries within the unit.
• Identify errors, overpayments, and opportunities for process improvements.
