Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of assigned payer relationships, including negotiation support and rate methodologies.
• Maintains expertise of contract language, rates, and providers.
• Ensures contract language and payment methods follow standard practices.
• Represents Payer Contracting in key relationships and committees.
• Establishes long-term relationships with aligned payers.
• Coordinates with Finance and Revenue Cycle for risk-based contracting.
• Collaborates with Legal and Compliance for regulatory alignment.
• Provides leadership and mentorship to Payer Contracting Managers.
