Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Payer Payment and Reimbursement Analyst for a remote, nationwide role. You will configure and maintain payment logic within reimbursement systems, analyze regulatory updates, and translate complex policies into concrete business requirements.

You will collaborate with Developers, QA, Data, and Client Services to ensure accurate pricing, testing, and compliance, while building robust Excel models to validate methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in healthcare payer payment and reimbursement.
• Experience with professional and institutional fee schedules.
• Knowledge of PPS (DRG, OPPS, SNF, Home Health, Hospice, ASC).
• Ability to translate policies into clear business requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration.
• SQL reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain payment, pricing, and contract logic in reimbursement systems.
• Analyze regulatory updates and system changes for impact on processes and data.
• Review large healthcare data sets to identify trends and required changes.
• Interpret Medicare, VA, CHAMPVA, TRICARE policies and fee schedules.
• Collaborate with government agencies to clarify reimbursement policies.
• Translate policy updates into actionable requirements for software design.
• Develop complex Excel models to validate payment methodologies.
• Partner with Developers, QA, Data, and Client Services to ensure timely implementations.
• Create and execute test claims for development, UAT, and QA.
