Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of previous patient care experience.
• Capable of continuous monitoring of multiple patients at one time.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong de-escalation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of patients via monitoring software.
• Redirect potentially harmful behaviors using digital audio devices in patient rooms.
• Immediately communicate needs to nursing staff.
• Provide shift-to-shift handoffs to virtual attendants and nursing staff.
• Identify and report patient safety issues promptly.
• Ensure patient environment safety and address potential hazards.
