Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Methodist Hospital Northeast is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to monitor high-risk patients via video. You will work with the care team to ensure a safe environment, prevent falls, and protect patient privacy throughout the shift.

The role requires 1+ year healthcare exposure, and De-Escalation Training (CPI/NVCI or equivalent) within 90 days. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• De-Escalation Training (CPI, NVCI, or similar) required within 90 days.
• Strong observation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation of high risk patients via video monitor.
• Maintain a safe environment with fall and self-harm prevention.
• Document patient status and activity clearly during shifts.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians and staff.
• Support teamwork and uphold patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
