Job summary

Medical City McKinney is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to monitor patients from a remote station, preventing falls, injuries, or self-harm while coordinating with the care team to respond quickly and compassionately.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within stated timelines, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• 1+ year of acute care experience.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly.
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift.
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times.
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork.
