Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant for the night shift, working from a remote location to monitor patients at risk of falls, injury, or self-harm. You will communicate concerns in real time to support the care team and protect patients.

Responsibilities include watching patients, identifying risks, documenting activity, safeguarding privacy, and collaborating with the team to maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team to intervene quickly.
• Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout the shift.
• Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork.
