Job summary

TriCities Hospital is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to remotely monitor patients at risk for falls or self-harm from a remote station. You will communicate concerns in real time to empower the care team and help protect and improve lives during each shift.

The role focuses on safety, privacy, and teamwork while supporting the care team with accurate patient activity documentation and rapid intervention when needed.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Previous patient care experience in a healthcare facility is preferred
• Highschool diploma/ GED

Responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS)
