Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to provide continuous observation for high-risk patients from a remote station. You will monitor and document patient status, support transportation and procedures, and apply fall and infection prevention knowledge to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and 90-day de-escalation training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire.
• One or more years of healthcare experience preferred.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and alert the care team.
• Document patient activity and changes with accuracy during shifts.
• Protect patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to promote compassion, respect and teamwork.
