Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to monitor high-risk patients remotely, providing continuous observation from a virtual station and ensuring a safe environment. You will support the care team and document patient status with precision.

From a remote posting, you will play a vital role in fall prevention, injury mitigation, and timely escalation of concerns while upholding patient privacy and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred/required.
• De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire.
• One year or more of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of high-risk patients.
• Monitor and report patient physical and emotional status.
• Prevent harm by following fall prevention and self-harm protocols.
• Document patient status and activity clearly during shifts.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient environments.
