The position requires a high school diploma, the ability to monitor up to 16 patients, strong communication, and reliability. Drug screening and background checks are required, with full-time hours including weekends/holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Capable of continuous monitoring of up to 16 patients at one time.
• Ability to communicate verbally, calmly and courteously in stressful situations.
• Ability to work independently maintaining accuracy, confidentiality
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks

Responsibilities

• Maintains visual observation of patients at all times and communicates patient behaviors to nursing staff.
• Communicates with internal/external teams in a courteous and professional manner and provides handoffs.
• Monitors patient safety and reports potential threats to staff and patients.
