Responsibilities

• Process patient accounts from post-bill submission to final 3rd party payment resolution.
• Resolve denied claims timely and accurately; manage insurance correspondence.
• Follow policies and HIPAA, Joint Commission, and payer contract requirements.
• Document all activities in the system and communicate with relevant departments.
• Identify and report process improvements to reduce billing errors and increase efficiency.
