Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Patient Account Collections Specialist to conduct outbound calls, follow up on patient receivables, and deliver excellent customer service. This is a full-time, work-from-home role within a hospital market area and requires balancing outreach with on-time resolutions.

The ideal candidate has healthcare collections experience, call center background, and a customer-first mindset. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Outbound calls and account follow-up in healthcare revenue context.
• Must live within an HCA hospital market area and perform duties remotely.
• Experience with patient receivables and collection processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refer calls/accounts to appropriate parties based on customer inquiries; spend 90% on the phone.
• Identify problem accounts and elevate as appropriate.
• Update patient account records with actions taken.
• Work with patients and guarantors to secure payment on outstanding balances.
• Maintain minimum production standards and achieve quality targets.
• Adhere to attendance guidelines and provide excellent customer service.
