Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Architectural Drafter based in Pittsburgh, PA to provide drafting support on a range of projects. You will create and revise construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit, collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow established design direction while producing high-quality drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent education or training in Architectural Drafting, CAD, Architecture, or related field.
• 1+ years of architectural drafting, CAD, or related professional experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of architectural drawings, construction documents, and drafting standards.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches, redlines, plans, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise architectural drawings, plans, details, and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Develop drawings from sketches, redlines, markups, field notes, and direction provided by architects, designers, engineers, and project managers.
• Assist with the preparation of floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Update existing drawings and record drawings to reflect design changes and field conditions.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, organization, and compliance with company and client drafting standards.
• Assist with coordination of architectural drawings with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
