Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Architectural Drafter to provide drafting and technical support for commercial, industrial, municipal, and federal projects in Pittsburgh, PA. You will work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to develop drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of following established standards while incorporating feedback.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in Architectural Drafting/CAD/Architecture.
1+ year of architectural drafting experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD.
Basic understanding of drawings and drafting standards.
Ability to read sketches, redlines, and plans.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare and revise architectural drawings, plans, details, and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Develop drawings from sketches, redlines, markups, field notes, and directions from project team.
Assist with floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and other documents.
Update drawings to reflect design changes and field conditions.
Coordinate drawings with structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
Perform basic quality control checks for accuracy and completeness.
Organize project drawing files, models, and related documentation.
Incorporate comments from reviews and client feedback.
Support with additional drafting and project documentation needs.
