Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a part-time remote Statistician (Experimentalist) for a contract role supporting medical device development. The ideal candidate will apply statistical techniques across various functional areas while demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills. This position offers flexibility with a commitment of 14 hours per week, which may increase. Competitive hourly rates range from $65 to $80 based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must have an M.S. in Statistics or Bachelors with relevant experience.
• Previous experience using statistical techniques in development and manufacturing is required.
• Knowledge of medical device regulations (ISO 13485, 21CFR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support various teams in the evaluation of data and problem-solving.
• Develop and apply statistical techniques and ensure proper use of those methods.
• Communicate statistical methods and results to non-statisticians effectively.
